LINDA  ST. CLAIR

One of America’s best known painter’s of farm animals, Linda St. Clair knows what she paints.  She grew up on a farm in Tennessee.  “Animals are so much fun to do,” Linda says “I just have so much pleasure painting their faces, giving them a personality, and imagining what they’re thinking.  I feel that, for many people, farm animals are important to resurrect memories of a time when urbanization was not nearly so pervasive, and people were more at ease with nature.”  Linda lives in Del Norte, Colorado and plans on staying committed to painting her farm animals.  She emphasizes, “I’m totally dedicated to painting and have always wanted to be an artist from the time I was about five or six years old.”
